These Terms and Conditions govern all use of the SK Taj Hotels website and apply to every hotel operated under the SK Taj Hotels brand. By making a booking or using our site, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept any part of these terms, you should not use the site or make a booking.

Booking Terms and Payment

• Reservation Confirmation: When you complete a booking, you will receive an email confirmation. Your booking is valid only after we receive full payment. It is your responsibility to provide valid payment details and ensure your payment method (e.g. credit card) has sufficient funds.

• Payment Processing: SK Taj Hotels will charge your payment method in accordance with the payment terms shown at booking. In general, we will collect full payment at or shortly before check-in. For example, one hotel’s policy states the payment card is charged a few days before arrival. All charges (room rate, taxes, fees, extras) will be processed through our secure payment gateway.

• Prices and Fees: All rates are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclude applicable taxes, service charges and surcharges unless otherwise indicated. We may update prices or taxes at any time; confirmed bookings will reflect the rates and taxes in effect when you paid.

• Booking Integrity: You may only use this site to make genuine, legitimate bookings. Fraudulent, speculative or false bookings are strictly prohibited. SK Taj Hotels reserves the right to cancel any booking if we suspect fraud, error or misuse.

• Receipt: The email confirmation you receive serves as your receipt. Keep this for your records.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellation Deadline: You may cancel your booking by contacting us (see Contact Information). Free cancellation is generally allowed up until 24 hours (or one day) before the scheduled check-in time (noon on the day of arrival). After this deadline, cancellation fees will apply. For example, one hotel policy allows free cancellation up to the day before arrival, then charges 50% of the stay.

• Late Cancellations and No-Shows: If you cancel after the deadline or fail to arrive (“no-show”), your booking may be non-refundable or subject to a cancellation charge equal to the full stay or a percentage thereof. Any prepaid amount may be forfeited as the cancellation fee.

• Refunds: When a refund is due (for example, if we allow a late cancellation or in case of a booking error), it will be returned to the original payment method used for the booking. Refunds will be processed promptly but may take several business days to appear on your account, depending on your card issuer or bank.

• Special Rates: Certain promotional or advance-purchase rates may be non-cancellable and non-refundable. In those cases, we will clearly state the no-refund policy at the time of booking.

• Changes to Booking: If you wish to modify or shorten your stay, you must notify us in advance. Any approved changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. We may charge an administrative fee for changes or rebooking.

 

User-Generated Content (Reviews)

• Submission of Reviews: Guests may submit reviews or feedback about their stay. By posting a review, you grant SK Taj Hotels a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the content in connection with our business.

• Content Standards: You agree not to post any content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable. As with other platforms, SK Taj Hotels prohibits reviews that contain unlawful or copyrighted material, hate speech, obscenity, personal attacks, or any content that violates rights of others. For example, many sites explicitly ban abusive or infringing content.

• Moderation: We reserve the right to remove or edit any user content at our discretion, without notice, for any reason (including if it violates these terms). We are not obligated to publish every submitted review. If we find that content breaches our guidelines or is otherwise inappropriate, we may delete it.

Promotional Offers and Discount Codes

Unless stated otherwise, promotional codes are valid only for bookings made through the SK Taj Hotels website and must be entered at the time of booking.

• One Code Per Booking: Only one promotional code can be used per booking. Codes cannot be combined with other vouchers, offers or group discounts.

• Restrictions: Promotion codes may be limited to certain hotels, dates, room types or minimum stay requirements. We will inform you of any such restrictions when you receive the code. Codes cannot be applied retroactively or to existing bookings.

• Validity and Expiration: Each promotional code is valid only for a limited time and may expire without notice. We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel any code at any time, even after issuance. For example, one retailer’s terms explicitly state that codes may be withdrawn at any time. Use of an expired, invalid or unauthorized code will result in cancellation of the discount.

• Fraudulent Use: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking if we suspect misuse or fraud involving a discount code.

 

Acceptable Use of the Website

• Lawful Purpose: You agree to use the SK Taj Hotels website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not use this site to send spam, distribute viruses, facilitate a hack or attack (e.g. DDoS), or engage in any activity that could harm the site or other users. The internet is full of bad actors who abuse services via spam, malware or bots, and we forbid such conduct on our site.

• No Unauthorized Access: You must not attempt to bypass or circumvent any security measures or access systems or data not meant for you. This includes hacking, probing, reverse engineering, or intercepting traffic.

• Compliance with Laws: You must comply with all applicable local and international laws when using the site. Any abuse of the site or violation of law may result in cancellation of bookings and legal action.

 

Limitation of Liability

• No Liability for Losses: SK Taj Hotels (and its owners, affiliates, officers, agents, suppliers and partners) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the site or your booking, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, without limitation, lost profits, revenue, data or business, or damages for personal injury or death.

• Cap on Liability: Under no circumstances shall SK Taj Hotels’ total liability exceed the amount you have paid to SK Taj Hotels for the affected booking. In other words, our maximum liability for any claim related to the site or a booking is limited to the fees you paid us. This limitation applies regardless of the form of action (contract, tort, negligence, etc.).

• Third-Party Providers: The site may link to or facilitate bookings with third-party hotels or service providers. SK Taj Hotels is not responsible for any errors, acts or omissions of those third parties. Any claim you may have for issues related to a hotel stay or third-party service must be brought directly against that provider, not against SK Taj Hotels.

• Force Majeure: SK Taj Hotels shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, strikes, Internet outages).

 

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms (including any question regarding their existence, validity or termination) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jammu and Kashmir, India. In India, parties may also choose to resolve disputes by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. By using the site, you agree to submit to such jurisdiction.

 

Updates to These Terms
